FOR TODAY'S WORKOUT, RUN 4 MILES: A tip for the day as you head out for your big run: side pains during running seem to be caused mainly by shallow breathing, aggravated by starting a run faster than you should. To help eliminate them, slow down at the beginning of all your runs. By the way, your weekly long run just got 1 mile longer!
