TAKE TODAY OFF: Go catch a movie! You're taking today off so that you'll be rested for tomorrow's long run -- the longest of your training week. As the weeks pass, you'll notice that this program is designed with one long run per week; the rest of the workouts are relatively short. Can you train for a marathon this way? Sure! It's the distance of that weekly long run that counts, not your total weekly mileage.
