Day 004 - Warm up and stretch!

3-mile run        Training via ActiveMail

RUN THREE MILES, BROKEN UP AS FOLLOWS: Run one mile, then stop and stretch. Then run two more miles. Stop and stretch again. Always warm up and stretch before every workout, and, even more importantly, cool down and stretch after every workout. Notice that we don't recommend stretching until AFTER your warmup. Stretching cold muscles does little to increase your flexibility and can actually lead to injury.
