The Responsive cushioning provides a responsive ride to address the needs of the majority of runners with a traditional EVA midsole. The outsole is comprised of a thick layer of blown rubber with inverted triangular lugs for a smooth, durable ride in the forefoot, and an XT-1200 carbon rubber in the heel strike zone. The Responsive CRM Grid has a central pod that is larger than that in the Light Cushioning version and the strands are shorter, allowing less stretch to match the increased heel strike forces of average sized runners.
