TODAY, RUN 2-3 MILES AT AN EASY PACE: Try running on trails. Learn to watch the trail when you run and to pick up your feet to avoid obstacles. If you don't live near an accessible trail, run on asphalt roadways instead of concrete sidewalks. Asphalt is softer than concrete and therefore easier on your legs.
