IT'S A REST DAY: You're halfway through this eight-week program. If you're having hand pain and tingly fingers, check the tilt of your saddle. If the nose of the saddle is tilted down appreciably, you'll have to push against the handlebars to keep from sliding forward, which can lead to hand pain. Use a carpenter's spirit level (the kind with the bubbles in the tubes) to make sure your saddle is either parallel to the ground, or has the nose tilted down no more than 1 to 2 degrees.
