| I have been working out for about 3 months now and I am trying to gain muscle. So, I cut out the running and started cycling instead so I wouldn't burn too many calories. |

| no one exercise is too much. the deciding factor is how long you do it. 20-30 minutes of cardio is fat burning and also starts to take away muscle tissue. you can still do this, just make sure you lift weights consistently. if you are really serious about muscle gains, then you should do just 5-10 minutes of cardio before lifting and one cardio workout per week as a rest day. do this and you'll see results. |
