| I'm a male who lifts weights but runs after I lift, so i need i good shoes for both power lifting and running combined...any ideas? |

| I use New Balances for this.You want something that's comfortable and provides good support for your foot and ankles.I don't really know of shoes designed specifically for weight-lifting, so I'd suggest going with running shoes instead.Now, I lift before i run too, but I don't know if I'd consider it power lifting (I lift, but it's more strength training 6-10 reps).Of course, I'll admit I have different needs as far as shoes go because I wear orthodics for arch-support and I'm a hyperpronator (I shift my weight to the outsides of my feet) so I run the risk of rolling my ankles. That's why I make sure the shoes I get have support around the ankle a bit (not cut so low).Hope this helps |

| Whatever you choose, no sandals. People who wear sandals to the gym should have 45 pound plates purposely dropped on their toes |
