What is best exercise, as in burns up the most calories, walking or cycling?

| My estimation is just that, correct me where I'm wrong. I'd guess walking 1.6 miles would take around 20 minutes, which for me weighing 154lb/11stone would burn 108 calories.Cycling 1.6 miles will take less, I'm going to halve 20 as a fair guess and say it'd take ten minutes, cycling at a slow pace would been 98 calories.Of course all are approximations. | if you cycle to work you will get there a lot quicker and exercise for less time. if the way is flat it is not going to take much effort and therefore burn few calories. walking can intensify your exercise by power walking. cycling on average burns 5 calories per minute and power walking 10 calories. |
