|
|
| I am a 29 year old man, 5ft 10 in, 94kg. I started back to the gym yesterday after a lay of of 6 months. I was on treadmill for 40 mins. 10 mins of warm-up, 20mins of high intensity interval training (HIIT) and 10 mins of cooldown. I was running at a fast speed of 5miles per hour and a jogging speed of 3.5 miles per hour.According to my Polar heart rate monitor my average heart rate was 159bpm and my highest heart rate was 190bpm.At the speed of 5 miles per hour it was between 180-190 bpm and at 3.5 miles per hour it was 150-165bpm.Is this figure too high or about right for someone who hasnt trained in 6 months along with consuming too much calories and alcohol? Is this right for fat loss and gaining endurance?I want to lose the belly and ultimately 20kg in a year and become fit again asap. Thanks so much. |
