| question about cardio (cycling) for people who really know their excersizing materialeveryone says cardio is the best way to get fit, lose weight, and tone yourself. usually by either running or cycling, like riding a bike. i want to ride my bike to burn fat but i dont know how far and how long- meaning distance in miles or kilometers and time in minutes or hoursthanks :)by the way- i'm 16 and weigh about 112 am 5''4' in case that will help you answer my quesiton |

| it's not distance, so much as time and exertion. 30 minutes at least per day. raise your heart rate enough. that varies with each individual. |

| A good cardio workout should consist of at least 20-30 minutes of continuous exercise at a moderate pace. If you are simply looking to get fit, time frame over distance is what you should focus on, upping the difficulty or time put into your cycling to improve. |
