I started cycling 3 weeks ago, biking maybe 20-25 miles a day, sometimes up to 50. Every day i burn 400-600 miles on the treadmill, and mondays i run 7 miles. I've also cut out lifting weights almost entirely. I'm 190 pounds, 6 foot, and I just want to be lean. So I figured cutting out the weights would help me reduce muscle size. But now my abs are GONE, and the love handles are attacking. What's a guy to do?! Any advice is deeply appreciated.

You need to keep lifting to keep muscle. When you do so much cardio, you are not only burning fat but muscle as well. You should still lift, just lower the weight. Increasing your cardio was the right thing to do but cutting out weights completely is where you went wrong.

I know it's not very "manly" but have you tried yoga? It's all about making you lean and building muscles. Yoga actually pulls the muscle to the bone instead of making it bulge out like in weight lifting. Plus, no equipment required! Using your own body as a weight is harder than it sounds!

An increase in cardio is often accompanied by an increase in appetite, so it is entirely possible that you are eating more. Keep track of what you are putting in your body. Along with this is the problem that muscles are fat-burners. When you decrease your muscle mass then you also decrease the amount of calories you burn throughout the day (even when you are not working out!)These factors have most likely shifted your body into store-mode rather than burn-mode. Work the weights back into your routine, but use small weights and do a large amount of repetitions.
