I am 45. I dance to real fast music for 10 - 15 mins.I take 2 walks a day, dividing them into 5000 steps.I cycle on the highest gear on my exercise cycle for 30 mins. I do some floor exercises for my back and neck.Cannot do weight training because of my bad back.I am active through out the day.Eating healthy - no white flour, no cokes, no fried stuff - only eating the healthy stuff. How long will it take for me to weigh 6 kgs less. Why am I gaining weight ?????????/

Most likely you gained muscle mass. If youre trying to lose weight document two things:-actual weight-body measurementsMore often than not people lose inches but gain weight due to more muscle mass.

you might be losing fat and gaining muscle, which is an excellent thing. but just to make sure -- measure your waist, hips, thighs and arms each week. then compare notes after a couple of weeks. otherwise, if you're exercising too much and eating too little, you may want to make sure you get at least 1200 calories everyday. when we don't eat enough, the body thinks we're experiencing starvation and goes on "fast mode" (using up muscle and storing fat) and the metabolism slows down. to quicken your metabolism: eat 5x a day of small, healthy portions (assuming you already eat only lean protein, complex carbs, and lots of fiber).
