I've been exercising since monday. On monday i did an hour's jog followed by 20 mintues on my exercise bike. I repeated this on tuesday but also did a half an hour tone-up workout e.g sit ups, press ups, weights, as well. On wednesday, i went for my hour's jog again, 20 mins on the bike and the tone-up workout. Yesterday (thursday) i did 45 mintues of yoga, cycled to my leisure centre (there and back which takes approximately 40 mins in total) and i also went swimming for 45 minutes......so today i am going out for a walk with my family which will be an 8 mile walk, but do you think this morning i should go for another swim again, or take it easy and just go for the walk?

you should only work out five days a week. your body needs some time to do it own thing for two days. just dont take two days in a row off.

my friend is a personal trainer- its gud ur enthusiastic bout gettin fit, but aparently u get best results by having one day off, to let muscles do their thing, this is aprently how u tone up quicker becasue for that day they realx a bit.

I would say that you should maybe take a break for awhile. It sounds like you are really into being healthy and working out and such, which is great, but you might be over doing it. You should relax. Smile But, if you really do want to keep on working out, go for it, as long as you feel like you can.
