I am 5'6 and am 14. I weigh around 150-155 pounds. Am I overweight?

I play ice and field hockey, run about once a week, am going to 3 sporting camps this summer, one is a running camp for field hockey. I am very muscular, but I don't think my stomach is in the best shape. My legs are mostly muscle, though. What can I do to loose weight? I am a size 10 shoe, normally size 10 jeans and wear mediums, larges and xl's depending on what store it is.

Hi girl. You are fine. Muscle weighs more than fat. I bet your waist is like mine: 24-25 inches. You are only 14, you could grow a few more inches, to 5'9" or so. My sis is 6' even. Folks keep getting taller until about 25 years old.I am 5'9". You are in the healthy range.If your butt is 36 to 38 inches, you are doing just fine.If you were 5'1" or 5'2" I would say drop five or ten pounds. But you are a big, tall girl like me. So do not worry. Eat more fruit, vegetables and popcorn. Really. Do not worry. Only the insecure, and immature ever shied away from me. (long legged blonde most of my life--redhead the last 10 years)Most guys dig girls like us. They do not want 'twiggy' clones. Or anarexic girls either.Heck, some guys used to get excited watching me eat a hamburger and fries with a milk shake. The whole 'good appetites' vibe there.
