Saturday night I met up with my friends as usual, I thought we were going to just hang out, so I had my rockport oxford shoes on, which are a nice casual/dress up type of shoe. We ended up playing a few hours of ultimate frisbee and football and I did quite a bit of running in these shoes which aren't meant to be run in. The past two days i've been really sore in my legs, especially my thighs, where its discomforting to walk even. I'm an avid cyclist too, so I have very strong legs. Could I have hurt anything, or is it normal to be sore like this if I used the wrong shoe? Thanks!

well you say your an avid cyclist so i would believe your in great physical condition. However cycling and running are two different things and have totally different muscles that are being worked. So if you don't run that often the reason you are so is because those little muscles that don't get used that often are being used. If you hurt something you probably would have known right away.
