yesterday i did cardio for 5.5 miles (run/bike), 150 crunches, 40 minutes pilates, all the machines for entire body at the gym for weight training/toning. im so sore today. its ridiculous. i tried light running today, and i couldnt do more than .3 of a mile. im hoping after eating more i'll be able to run more?i dont knowi just dont know if ill be able to workout.and i am STARVING. could i be so hugnry because of my workout yesterday? i work out hard like that like 4 times a week and i am never this hungry. i havent ate more than 1200-1400 cals in 2 weeks.and mostly 1200!so today im scared i might go over. ive already had 750 calories. and i plan on having plain pasta with some chicken that is flavored. which is probably 200 calories for chicken? and 200 for pasta.ughh. and if i cant workout then my diet today will have sucked. will i gain weight from this?im also scared after dinner i might be hungry again..why am i so hungry?!i meant i work out with THAT specific regimine 4 times a week. in all i work out 6 times a week. just not that intense all6 days

because a person who doesn't work out at all needs 1700-1800. Someone who works out as hard as you needs at least 2500, up to 3000

Your hungry because your working out so much and not eating enough food. If you really workout that much in a week you can eat more than 1200 calories a day without gaining a pound.

you should be taking in more calories for sure if your working out that much that's probably why your body thinks its on starvation mode Eat nuts raw like sunflower seeds or cashews

I've also only had about 750-800 calories today. Not enough. However, we're having pizza for dinner (pre-made whole wheat dough with tomato sauce and frozen pineapple and probably some steamed veggies on the side). There is also a mock prom tonight at my husband's seminary ("mock" as in making fun of the cheesiness of prom) and dinner will be served, but we're having pizza because the dough and the sauce needs to be eaten today and we'll be gone the next two days. Of course, I'll probably eat at school, too as there is going to be a veggie "meat" loaf and it sounds good. Depending on my mood, I might have a bowl of frozen fruit before bed while I'm nursing my daughter. After my daughter has her dinner nursing, I might even have a beer, depending on the time. Yes, it's empty calories, but an occasional beer (or two, which is very rare these days) isn't going to hurt anything, especially since we drink real beer.On good days, I put my daughter in her stroller and we go for a walk, but not every day. I could have gone alone today (my husband works at the school library and took her with him), but I needed to stay home and get some work done. I'm not freaked out that I'm going to gain weight because i didn't work out today and I might exceed 2,500 calories. At six feet, 155, I could definitely stand to gain weight. No wonder you're hungry. You're not eating much. I consume at least 2,000-2,500 calories a day. Sometimes I eat because I'm bore, or it's there, etc. However, everything I eat comes in the form of whole, real foods. I just had some apple sauce just because I wanted it. Now, I don't necessarily consider that a serving of fruit, but it's much better than a cookie, of course. If you don't workout and you exceed what you think is your limit, it will not be the end of the world. You're not going to gain weight from one day of sloth.
