Lactic Acid build up.You know that burn you feel when working out? it's the lactic acid build up. Because of it, your muscles retain more water for a little while

Its a sign of poor circulation. alot of blood has been pumping through your legs while you were exercising and your body is having difficulty recirculating it. Prop your legs up above your head after you finish exercising and you should talk with your doctor about this!
