I have debating on whether or not to purchase a bicycle and riding it for additional exercise. I am unsure of the exact health benefits of riding a bike. What prompted my interest in bike riding is that I used to drive past a really large man everyday and then I stopped taking the same route that he cycled on for a while and when I returned to the route I noticed that the guy was thin. I am not sure if it is a direct result of his cycling, but it did spark my interest in cycling.

Cycling regularly will improve your fitness and can help you live a long and healthy life. Riding a bike can help you maintain a healthy weight.

Stronger leg muscles is what you would get from bike riding. That man must have done other exercise such as jogging/running besides bike riding to lose weight.

cardio vascular improvement, heart health stronger muscles and better all around physical strength.

It's a good cardio workout and can burn a lot of calories if it is done consistently. It is a great exercise for the legs.

its a great cardio vascular workout, its one of the best excersises for your heart (Along with the bonus of fresh air) your legs, bum and stomach will become firmer and to add to that your skin will get a nicer complexion and your moods will get better with the increse of excersise = increase of endorphins

Great aerobic workout , good for the quads if u can go on increasing resistance that is. refreshing especially if done outdoors ,lowers BP . ofcourse u gotta watch ur diet if u wanna lose fat. Hit it man...

cycling is not only a decent exercise but can save you money, instead of going to the shop by car you could cycle there instead and save a few on petrolbut cycling like any cardio vascular activity will improve the condition of your lungs, heart and help you control your weight

Wellllllllll it depends of the angle,,,,,,1- solitude2- rapid heart beat3- lots of sweat (I live in Miami)4- Mental disconnect5- Better legs6- burn caloriesand if you are good looking, is a great way of meeting girls that are in the same thing as you.lolol
