Will that stop me from getting any pains or cramps n the blood pooling to my feet? what else shud i do afterwards? And what can i eat that wont wreck my workout?any help is much appreciated! :)xx

after you workout, it is best to just start stretching. It is actually better to keep standing and walking around so lactic acid can't build up. Standing up doesn't cause blood to pool in your feet. Just stretch and if the workout was really hard, ice, or better yet, take an ice bath. They are painful, but I am never sore the next day (and this after 10 400's). As crazy as this sounds, chocolate milk is really good at restoring nutrients lost during excercise, just make sure not to drink a lot. I also like preztels, granola, and peanut butter on apples for snacks. Hope this helps.

the lay down thing seems ok you might try just sitting down and doing some long slow stretches... and as for food maybe some chicken like a boneless breast peice. or fruit. I like a chicken and cheese sandwich with a side plate of granny smith apple slices with some peanut butter but not to much. yup very tasty....

well by the time you get home your muscles have used most of your energy from your ATP, and your glycogen level is low you need to replenish your body with nourishment, say a cold slim fast will do. or eat a protein and a carb with plenty of water, then rest if you have to.
