| I'm genetically an ectomorph. I'm 18 years old, but i only weight 82 pounds and i'm 5'4". I eat twice as much as my friends who are girls, but they are all on diets so that isn't saying much. I want to be 115 pounds. And i want to gain that weight in two weeks. Well i want to at least see a change in two weeks. Maybe not gain ALL that weight by then, but i want something that makes me gain weight fast. I don't care if its healthy or not. I'm not talking about gaining muscle, although i do plan on working out. But what i really need is to gain fat. I also apparently don't have enough cholesterol. Which makes no sense cos my diet is usually burgers and chips. So pretty much , keeping in mind that my body refuses to gain weight, how can i get fat fast? |

Try and eat a lot of bread, pasta, cereal, and rice. They are high in cholesterol( good cholesterol and some bad cholesterol) and will guarantee you fast weight gain. The most healthiest way to gain weight is to gain muscle...Good luck ! |

| You obviously have a slow metabolism now, but it will catch up to you. You can never have not enough cholesterol b/c its not good for you. Stop eating the fast food and opt for fresh fruits and veggies, lean meats, grains, and good fats. These will all have various minerals and vitamins that your body is lacking, and if its lacking certain things it can throw everything off. Sorry to say but you will not gain 23 pounds in two weeks, its pretty much insane to think that unless your entering mr. universe or a competition. However you can see nice results with certain supplements, I use a training method of cycling out whey protein and weight gainer. If you go to bodybuilding.com you can order a supplement called Cyto Sport Cyto Gainer. It comes in a few different flavors and is easily made in a blender or just shaken in a bottle. It contains essential vitamins, minerals, creatine, glutamine, and extra calories for the weight gain. These are all safe ingredients however like I said I cycle out weight gainer every 2 months b/c the creatine can be bad for the kidneys. The glutamine will help your muscles thrive, which btw you said you dont plan on working out, if you dont work out your body will start to store the extra carbs from the weight gainer, and actually anything that has carbs in it that you eat and will deteriate (sp) the lean muscle you have or have worked to gain. It's not that your body refuses to gain weight, its that as an ectomorph you need to concentrate on gaining lean muscle mass. Overall, you will be pretty pleased with the results of the weight gainer I mentioned , I gained 10 pounds in 1 month. You will get 16 -18 servings and each serving is 600+ calories, depending on what you mix it with. Milk is the best choice because it adds calories. The most essential thing you can add to your diet is protein protein protein! Honestly, lay off the fast food and try some home cooking,Try eating every 2-3 hours, a good meal, and by good I mean a source of protein, good fats, low carbs, and vegetables/fruits. Also increase your water intake, your weight should drink 7-8 glasses of water daily, it will cleanse the body of the nasty fast foodand its what your muscles depend on. I speak from experience, I have been in bodybuilding for 5 years and when I started out I was a 98 pound vegetarian, now I am a 115 -120 pound meat eating machine. And dont fear that you'll look to manly, only if you use steriods or train obsessively all day everyday will you gain male features. If you need to know anything else you can just email me at ilovemyboxer420@yahoo.com, I have been in weight training for quite a while and went to college for sports nutrition, I would be glad to offer you a sample of my workouts and food diary. Hope this helps! |
