| i am 5'4 and weigh 150 pounds. I have lost about 45 pounds and i weight train 3-4 times a week. i am still trying to slim down about 20 more pounds. here is where it gets tricky.i am a cycle instructor and was teaching 5 classes a week ( an hour each) since my body was used to it, i ran about 4 times a week about 3 miles at a time for extra cardio. things were going great but now i have picked up an extra 4 classes. this means 9 hours of cycling. this is a lot of cardio so i am worried that i am going to loose the muscle that i have worked so hard to get. the last thing i want is to get flabby again. i do get off the bike periodically but still its a lot of cardio. should i cut out the rest that i was doing? my body is so accustomed to cycling as far as weight goes, it does not change with only that. |

| just make sure you dont overdose yourself with too much protein..im a vegetarian who drinks 2-3 glasses of lowfat milk daily and snack on raw nuts and dried figs..i eat tofu 4 times a week and have been losing 3 pounds weekly..according to my fitness trainer and his calculations, the weight is purely fat,no muscle loss at all.. |
