I want to slim my legs and weight down a little more, and avoid getting muscular calves (I am more of a mesomorph...the body type prone to muscle)...but I am sick of getting mixed answers So which is the best exercise regime for losing a little weight, keeping my weight down and trimming up my thighs? I currently do a combination of intense cycling on my stationary bike, jogging on the spot, toning/calisthetics and brisk walking each day.

Any cardio will help you lose inches...just remember that when you start cardio, you're burning energy from food you recently ate, and after 40 mins, it starts burning directly from your body's fat storages. So 30-60 mins of cardio should be done everyday.I think running probably develops or bulks muscle in the leg more than any of the other exercises you are doing.
