|
|
| Hi, my mum is tryinig to loose weight so she asked me to train her. We have an exercise bike, Stepper, Rebounder tramp, Dumbell weights and i am buying a treadmill. What is a good workout eg 3 mins on bike, 2 mins on stepper, 10 burpees with weights etc...Thanks so much. Im basically doing a biggest loser program with her so i watch what she eats and i weigh her every few days and have a weigh in on sundays. So anything to improve on her weight loss would be great. So far in 5 days i helped her loose 1.1kg.Thanks!!! |

| See the thing about losing weight is, if you only concentrate on the weighing scales then you're fooling yourself. You need to invest in a body fat monitor to make sure what you're getting rid of is fat and not muscle. All aerobic exercise will burn both fat AND muscle, therefore its really important to add a resistance phase to your training. Resistance exercise is basically training with the use of weights. Try to stick to three sets of 12 repetitions of each exercise. Its not uncommon that after training your body fat percentage could go down while your weight will go up. This is because muscle weighs a lot more than fat. |
