| I am 24 years old, 6'1 and currently 202 lbs. I started exercising regulary in February. My routine consists of weight lifting 5-6 days a week, and cardio 4-6 days a week alternating between the elliptical machine and a treadmill. My weight has not changed much since I began exercising, fluctuating between 202 - 205. I have seen significant gains in both my cardio and weight lifting. I am very careful about my diet (no junk food, consume protein shakes etc) and though im not a hardcore calorie counter i know im putting myself in a deficeit. However, I dont seem to see anything siginicant in my appearance. My arms, at rest, dont have that built look to them. And what concerns me most of all is my abdominal fat. I know that it is the hardest to lose, yadda yadda yadda, but I would have expected to see some difference by now. So, I guess what I'm asking is how long dkid it take you to see results in your programs? 3 mos, 6 or 1 year? And what results did you see?Last summer I was doing the same thing and within 3 mos I went from 205 to 185 lbs. Granted I wasnt lifting quite as hard as i am now, and wasnt taking in as much protein as i should have, so I could have been killing off some muscle as well as fat with too much cardio. I was also taking fat loss supplements at the time which I am not taking now, so perhaps I should start up again. |

| Any exercise that you keep up with will usually start to show in about 3 to 4 weeks time. |
