| Hey guys.. iv agreed to cycle across america with a friend who is significantly fitter than i am.. i can run for about 20 mins and then its a problem... i have a bit of belly and moobs, so that suggests my shape! Im about 13 stone too...the question is.. do any of you guys know a fool-proof plan to lose weight, get in shape, and get fit enough for this trip, which is scheduled for about April time next year...any diet ideas, workout routines or any other ideas are more than welcome and open to consideration!thankyou so much in advance =) |

Well, 13 stone doesn't sound that heavy to me... maybe you're really short?Anyway - just stick to 1600 + how many you lose in exercise and you'll lose the weight.Seeing it is a cycle holiday, i would suggest doing as much cycling as you can stand every other day. Then do a day of core strength work-out. Then a day at the gym working on muscle tone. Then a day off each week. With the cycling, also set yourself limits and copy your friends routine. He'll know what needs to be done. All of that aside, if you don't get fit enough - you are going to ruin your mates holiday and his ambition! So sort it out tubby! |

| well first things first, cycle cycle cycle! your fitness is very bad at the mo because 20 minutes running really isnt much, build up your stamina by cycling and running and just try to eat healthy foods. remember to eat after training. good luck, it sounds tough |
