| I pretty much work in a cube environment and I have noticed that I've gain a lot of weight and would like it to stop. I need some help with a diet and exercise plan. I just started going to the gym and did an hour on elliptical and walked for 15 minutes after that. I started eating Kashi cereal in the mornings with skim milk with fruit (Bananas or strawberries). For lunch I started to make sandwiches with whole grain bread, turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, muster, and one slice of Munster cheese and I buy a small soup. For dinner I eat whatever my parent’s cook, which usually consist of white rice with something. (I live at home...). Any more suggestions would be great, I know I have to eat more snacks in between but I’m not sure what to pack. I'm 5'4 and 155lbs and would like to get to 135.Thanks! |

| Exersise lots, but don't over do it..just moving(doesn't need to be strenuous) burns calories. To loose weight you must burn more calories than you take in. My tips for loosing weightDon't sit down at your pc or watch tv for more than 30 mins without getting up for 10-15 and moving about. just walk around...do some jumping jacks, stretch.Drink 5-10 8 ounce glasses of ICE water. The hitch there is the ice, in an 8 ounce glass of ICE WATER your body must burn 17.5 calories to warm the water to your body tempature. Try to drink Ice water in place of other drinks or luke warm water.Lots of waterStretch in the morning and evening before you go to bedGet 60 minutes of exersise(doesn't need to be strenuious) each dayDo NOT eat these foods or drinksTry to stay as far away from bread as possible..a little is okayEnergy drinksDrinks with sugar in themRegular sodasweets(ice cream, candy, cake,)A portion of food is the size of YOUR fist. make a fist and mesure that amount of the food your eating. Thats a good portion size for you.Don't eat after 7 pm( If you have to try not to make it alot)And most of all just have fun. Whenever your moving. no matter how small or short you are burning calories :DDon't eat after 7 pm Eat HIGH CARB foodsYup most people lsoe 3lbs the first week of dieting and 2lbs a week from there on :)Drink STRICTLY WATERFree foods: Black coffeLettuceSaladcelery200-300 cals for breakfast 60 cal snack 300-400 cals for lunch60 cal snack 400-500 cals for dinner Loads of water, I mean a lot!!! and spike it with some citrus fruit as this has an enzyme in it that quite literrally eats fat! |

| You have to come up with some type of a reward system, this will help keep you motivated. One of the best things to do is make a contingency contract. Stating what you want to do, who will help you do it, and what do you get for doing it. Then also try to find a well balance diet program. My friend did this one diet program where the average weight lose is 7 pounds in 9 days. It might be the thing you are looking for, I know it's well balanced. If you want e-mail me and I can tell you more about either of these. |
