Weight is not an indication of good nutrition. Please do research on ideal daily nutrition for your boys instead of stuffing them food and getting them heavier or worse, fat.If you are feeding them with the right amount of nutrition a day, then you shouldn't worry about their weight because it is normal for children to have a high metabolism. Once they reach a certain age, they will eventually fill in the normal weight. For now, the best you can do is give them nutritious food (none of the junk fatty foods and avoid too much protein as this may trigger an increase in uric acid and cause arthritis) and give them multivitamins.I don't know if it's necessary, but you can also have them checked for worms. Sometimes you cannot avoid parasites and this may also be a cause which can be common among children.I was based in Qatar for a year and I have seen the eating habits of people in the middle east. While I enjoy the food, I've always been afraid that I'm not eating right. My personal favorite is Roasted Lamb and Bukhari and to eat it on one big tray with everybody digging in is even more appetizing. I've been to several dinners where parents would force the kids to eat because it was haram to waste food, and these kids were already obese. I hope that you can do better for your sons and feed them the right way, Insha'allah. Good luck.
