| I have just got a box of pedometers to use with my students. While testing them with other adults whose heart rates are each around 80-90, mine either shows 0 or between 141-171 while resting (finger pulse) I tried a friends heart rate monitor that fits around torso & got 88, but still get either no reading or very high with finger pulse???? |

| Your monitor may be defective or it is not being used correctly. They are quite easy to use, so I am going to assume that it is defective. Call the company to get a replacement. Also, the heart monitors that are worn on the wrist provide better results. Best of luck |
