I made the mistake when trying to lose weight, of keeping on increasing my exercise til I was doing 3 hours a day. 1 hour intense cycling on exercise bike (magnetic resistance)1 hour brisk walking 1 hour toning/calisthetics etc. I now wish to try and lose a little of this muscle as it is keeping my weight up and that is making me veruy unhappy and causing me to limit my food intake a lot. Can someone tell me what I can keep and what I should cut (Exercise wise) to get rid of some of the muscle in my legs?

You're not having too much muscle; you could be actually losing your precious muscle due to the effect of over-cardio, which strips off muscle and causes you inefficient in burning off fat. That's why you're gaining weight. Please read this article on the effect of over-cardio to understand it better: http://www.perfect-body-toning.com/excessive-cardio.htmlCut down your cardio ( cycling and walking) to 30-40 mins per session and your toning/calisthetics to 20-30 mins per session. 1 hr of exercise (cardio + toning) is more than enough to help you lose weight.
