Jocelyn,I'm going to let you know now that diets don't work! What happens when someone goes on a diet is that they start making a list of foods they they "can't" have, and a list of foods they think are "healthy". Most of those foods on the "Can't" list are things like pizza and potato chips, things that many people like to eat but feel are fattening. On the "healthy" list are things like salads, fruits, low-fat yogurts, and other 'diet friendly foods'. So, why don't diets work? Because they DEPRIVE you of the things you want and make you crave them even more. That's why people always say "I was on a diet but then i ate a whole cake and now i'm off it". The reason they ate a whole cake instead on a small slice was because they were deprived of that cake for so long that when they finally got it they went out of control and ate the whole thing. Now after telling you that I think I should tell you how to solve that problem. There is a way to lose weight fast and KEEP IT OFF, and it goes by one rule: Eat When Your Hungry And Stop When You're Full. If you follow that rule than you can eat all those junk foods and sodas that you enjoy but you have to eat them slowly. Sit down when you are about to eat a bag of chips (with no distractions from the T.V or newspaper) and eat one chip at a time and taste all the flavors. When you think your stomach has had enough put down the chips and leave them for another time. What will happen is that you will soon realize that you get full much faster if you are eating consciously. How do i know this works? That's simple! How many skinny people do you see eating diet bars and salads everyday? Not that many. How many skinny people do you see eating chips and pizza? A LOT, and the reason is because those "skinny" people are eating consciously. They don't have high metabolisms they just know when they are full. So, you can lose weight, be happy while doing it and soon be a naturally skinny person if you just "Eat When Your Hungry and STOP When Your Full". If you fall off the wagon don't feel depressed because you aren't on a diet, so you can't fail. So, say you eat a whole chocolate cake in one sitting just say to yourself "Ok, i'm learning" and eat the next time your hungry. Goodluck and I hope that rule helps you!

start exrcising - first u can't physically eat while u re exercising, second u maybe will lose a few gramms. but honestly, u don't sound motivated, so i doubt u will ever lose any weight. don't u just hate this slob around your waist? i am not overweight and never have been, but i know i would hate myself very much if i were fat

you have a very common problem and you might have read the remedies also.no one need to teach an over weight person what should be done bcoz he/she has already researched about it. the only thing to be done is stick to a routine. and then be consistent about it. we wont reduce overnight but in a few months we will surely feel healthier. exercise with a trained person so that we have to do the exercise well and wont laze about it

Get checked out for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). It really can pack the weight on, and it makes it very hard to lose it. It also leads to cravings for junk food. I picked 2 junk foods that I won't give up, then started working on eliminating all sugar from my diet (except for the dark chocolate and ice cream). I don't crave stuff very often now and healthy food is tasting better. The weight hasn't dropped off, but I don't exercise much. I feel lots better though.

I love food too! There are diets out there that allows you some junk food, you just have to moderate. I have been on weight watchers, and it is the best diet i've ever been on. You can still eat things you love, you just count your points. I went during free registration which they have all the time. You pay I think like 12.00 dollars, get the book and the point finder and you don't have to go back if you don't want. Try it ! it works.

just avoid eating too much fatty foods or foods rich in cholesterol such as pastas, pizzas or even junk foods & sweets. just take a well-balance diet everyday. regular exercises such as 15 min walking or jogging everyday would also help in losing weight.

Hi, Jocelyn,It's hard to change habits, isn't it? I love soda and junk food and fatty foods too! You know that if you want to lose weight (and get healthier) you've got to make some changes. You may want to do it all at once, or you may want to make small changes over a period of time. For example, give up eating in between meals first. Then, down the road, give up junk food except one day a week--you get the picture! If you're anxious to get some weight off NOW though, you'll need to make lots of changes at once which won't be easy! Check out the website: easy-weightloss-tips. There are lots of ideas that will help you with diet plans, diet tips, activity, motivation, etc. Be sure to read the "Artificial Sweeteners" page about soda. Scary stuff! In the meantime, eat three small meals a day (no more than 400 calories each) and two healthy snacks. Include something from every food group (check out that food pyramid) at every meal, and make sure you get enough protein! Drink lots of water to keep your body flushed out. Exercise every day even if you only walk 20 minutes. If diet pills worked, there'd be no overweight people, right? You can do this!!!
