lost 10 lbs. it took A LOT! of hard work and effort. I have 8 more to go. But ever scince easter I went off of my diet and I've been eating like a pig. Because of loosing a pet ans STREE STRESS STRESSS! I ate 1 1/2 boxed of Resses puffs in two days. Only 2 days scince then did I eat like my diet. I still kept my walking every day plan going. But will I have gained any "permanent" weight from this? Also, I just can't seem to get rid of my cravings! What is happening to me? I'm 16 and I want to look good this summer.

just have that mentality, and tell yourself NO when you're craving something. it's hard at first, but it seriously works. because whenever i crave something and i'm not PHYSICALLY hungry, i just tell myself not to eat, and not to get up and grab something, and i wont.people eat for comfort sometimes, and because of stress. it's normal and happens for pretty much everyone. don't worry.just try not to eat so much! and about the gaining weight after a diet, it depends on how you lost that weight in the first place. and if it was healthily, than it shouldnt gain as quickly. but because you're eating like this, it might... so be careful.and when you have time and you're stressed, instead of grabbing a snack, try to burn it off with sit ups, or jogging.it works too because exercise is a REALLY good way to blow of steam or anxiety.

Im 16 and i was on a diet too. My diet really worked for me and i just now recently put myself back on it. I think your gonna be okay, you just have to make sure you exercise no matter how bad you feel. Get yourself back on your diet ASAP...cravings aren't always bad. Most of the time you get them when your body is lacking a nutrient found in those foods. Whenever you are having uncontrollable cravings and you know those foods aren't within your diet, chew on some gum or brush your teeth, then you won't feel like eating. My diet has been 100% successful and i don't always follow it, just make sure you aren't eating processed foods and drinking sodas and you will be fine! ;-D

Not really, I've read an article where it tells you that women who are likely to "break" their diet sometimes looses the same amount of weight of those who stick to it.Now, it doesn't mean that you can break ur diet, it's just that these little slips won't affect your weight THAT much to make you recover ur lost pounds. Since it took u a lot to gain them, it'll take effort to loose them too...but you won't get fat from one day to another. Just eat healthily and when u are actually hungryoh, here's the article!6. Splurge--then get up and moveOne date with a pint (or even two) of ice cream won't doom your weight loss unless you let guilt keep you off track. In fact, French researchers discovered that obese exercisers who bicycled for 45 minutes 3 hours after a high-fat meal metabolized more stored belly fat than those who cycled on an empty stomach. Although bingeing on cookies before your next workout obviously won't help you slim down, the study is a good reminder that not all is lost when you stray from your diet--in fact, your body may even kick it up a gear to help with damage control. Instead of giving up when a celebratory dinner with friends sends your calorie count through the roof, suggest a postmeal stroll or dancing. The party moves away from the table, and the evening can continue with a fun activity that helps you toward your weight loss goal.
