I am a 5'5" mom of one and last year when I got pregnant I weight in at 153. While I was pregnant I gained 67 lbs due to high stress. The fisrt month after I had my son I lost 25 lbs or more. It was strange to me because I was just eating health foods but wasn't really exercising. It's now been 5 months since I had my son and I've lost 72 lbs in all. I've been working out 3-4 times a week and eat health regular meals. I never fad dieted but I've hear if you loss a lot of weight fast you will gain it all back. I don't ever plan on stopping the life style changes I've worked so hard for. I just wonder if it was strange that I lost all that weight so quickly and what are the chances of it coming back. Thanks

Congrats on the baby and the weight loss!If you plan on keeping up your good behaviours..then you shouldn't have any problems. Just keep eating right and exercising, and you should be fine!

I pretty much went through the same thing.. My son is 1 1/2 and I am still maintaining my 115lbs on my 5ft7 frame, with healthy eating and excersize :)Around Christmas I exchanged working out for 50 boxes of after 8's and i gained about 12 lbs..Lost it all after I started the gym up and quit the chocolate! No worries!

if you stop working out or eat unhealthy, it has a good chance of slowly coming back

ok, go on 20-30 walks everyday! [or whenever its nice outside] and keep eating the right healthier foods! my aunt lost 100 pounds from doing this! and she's about the same height as you! eat a big breakfast, a medium lunch [and a healthy one] and a smaller dinner! trust me, it'll work!

Keep your diet sane and keep exercising. You should be fine. Weight weekly and don't fret over a pound or 2.

You should really see a nutritionist who will be able to come up with a diet that will suit your body. These things are different for everyone. You only really gain "it all" back when you do a starvation diet. If you are maintaining a sustainable program of diet and exercise, there is nothing to worry about. Your body will naturally fit itself into your caloric intake and energy output.

No the #1 key thing to remember is PORTIONS not even the excersise portions is more important.. I went on a dance trip and we were danceing 6 hours a day for the trip... I didnt lose a pound.. but if you portion your food correctly then you will be fine!! go by the serving size on packageingGood Luck!!

Well if you eat healthy and keep working out and it does come back then Its probably that you are gaining muscle. Just look at youself: do you look any fatter? if you dont then yea your gaining muscle from the excersize really sometimes weight doesnt really matter. When people tell you an "average weight" for someone your age and height its not actually correct because if you do alot of excersize you will obviously not be in that "average weight" you would way a few pounds more than it. Remember muscle weighs more than fat. Also you probably lost those 25 lbs, after you had your son because of stress my mom lost like 15 pound when she got a new job because of stress but she now gained it all back because she got overconfident and ate unhealthy so just keep doing what your doing and you will be fine.

Here is how I've lost 45 lbs in 3 months:Eat 3 eggs or a slim fast shake in the morning. You can also have black coffee.Eat 1/2 cup of almonds and blueberrys mid-morning.Eat a salad or slim fast shake at lunch.Eat 1/2 cup of almonds and blueberrys mid-afternoon.Eat 2 chicken breasts with sliced cheese for dinner (I've also had 1 can of tuna with sliced cheese for dinner).Workout on the treadmill for 40 minutes.Eat 1/2 cup of almonds and blueberrys 2 hours before going to sleep.Make sure you reserve 1 day a week to cheat and eat whatever you want. I choose Saturday and I would eat pizza, ice cream, Chinese, Thai, etc.Good Luck.
