I'm just curious about diet pills... Are there any that actually work, has any one had any experiences with them? What's the best kind?I really only want to know facts, no ones opinion pleaseOh I know, I'm a very athletic person, (four year varsity soccer player, 3 year varsity track) and I exercise regularly and eat right, but nothing at all is happening and I'm just curious.... Im not necessarily going to go on them, I just wanted some unbiased facts and exeriences

Diet pills don't work. Just eat healthy and work out.

They do work, but you have to exercise and eat right to get the best results.

There is one that works for sure but it's illegal almost everywhere but china - it's call ephedrine. i think it's a close relative of amphetamine and trust me it works. Anybody could shed a up to 14lbs in a month just by taking 4 pills a day with no dieting at all. It is addictive tho so you gotta be aware of how long your on it for

I tried hoodia for about, oh, five seconds. I nearly threw up every time I took a pill. No wonder people lose weight. Eat some veggies, fruit and oatmeal. Go for a walk. Avoid weight-loss in a capsule, because it's as artificial as it sounds.

Hoodia actually works really well for me in that it suppresses my appetite. Some people do get sick from it though. Start by taking half a dose and see if it has any adverse reaction on you. If not, it is the best (legal) diet drug in this country. Caffeine also speeds up the metabolism. So if you get a diet pill with hoodia and caffeine, you should lose weight quickly.

Ephedrine mixed with caffeine works but it's not good for you. Healthy diet, strength training, and cardio works. Fad diets and diet pills are unhealthy and once you get off them you'll gain all that weight back and more. Fitness is a lifestyle not something you do for a few months just to look good.

There are some that work but as soon as you come off them you put the weight back on quickly and sometimes more than you lost. The ingredients contain stimulants which makes your blood vessels smaller so it's more difficult for blood to circulate which raises blood pressure and puts a strain on the heart ,and diuretics, which causes diarrhoea and excess urination which dehydrates the body and gives a false weight loss reading as it's just fluid you are losingA healthy diet and exercise is the best way, slow I know ,but safe, and by changing eating habits the weight stays off and you stay healthy. My friend lost 3 stone in 4 months while taking slimming tablets, she has now put it all back and is on high blood pressure tablets and is a dithering wreck! If they were safe then Doctors would prescribe them and people wouldn't have to go to seedy slimming clinics or order on-line!

im not overweight or anything myself, i just wanted to drop a dress size and possibly stop myself from constantly eating- which is what i seem to do. I've tried pills that i got on ebay, i dont think they were very good. i've also tried hoodia patches (that nicole ritchie famously lost a load of weight on) they were meant to curb hunger cravings, and to be honest i don't think they worked for me either. i've tried slim fast though- and i think it's quite good and works, you even stop feeling hungry after about a week (initially you feel continuous starvation though, lol) to be honest though, i think diet pills work for some people and not for others, the only way you'll know for certain if they'l work for you is to try them. also, you say your quite athletic, i hink diet pills have a higher success rate with people who tend to be overweight/trying to lose a lot of weight, rather than people just trying to lose a little.

Whenever you are trying to lose weight, you should concentrate on these three things which all work together in providing a healthier and quicker weight loss goal for yourself. I have found this combination really successful in my weight loss plans. The first thing is exercising and how much you can put forth into it. The more you exercise, the more results you will see. The next thing is dieting and the calorie intake. If you exercise more, technically you could eat more? Always watch what you eat.Now the last step in a good weight loss plan is always a good diet pill that can help you get to the end of the road. I have found Proactol which is a natural herbal diet pill to be the best around. It's an appetite suppressant along with being a fat blocker which stops up to 28% of fat you eat. Read up about it at TheWeightLossPlace.com where I saved money on it. Proactol really works well with exercising which gives you plenty of energy to perform. Along with that your diet will be affected by Proactol due to the appetite suppressant and fat blocker. If you slip up on meals, the fat blocker kicks in. It's really great to stop food cravings.Concentrate on those three things and the combination is deadly for the fat cells in your body. Good luck and I hope this helps.
