I love salami and I live at school so occassionally, like two or three times a week, I'll have a salami sandwich on wheat with lettuce, provolone, and mustard. My question is, if I'm working out 3-4x's a week for 30-45mins, eating only about 1400-1500 calories a day, taking vitamins and drinking lots of water, will the salami make me gain weight or slow down my weight loss progression? I've already lost 15lbs and I need to lose 10 more by June 20.

I would say you're doing fine. If you eat before a workout, even better. But never eat less than a half hour before a workout session for it may cause you to throw up. If you are doing cardio, then this will not slow. If you are doing weight lifting, then yes, it will slow your progression. HTH!

If you choose to eat salami once a week or so that is okay, in order to make sure it doesn't slow your weight loss down any try exercising on the day you eat the salami a bit longer. That way you will keep losing weight

Forget the salami! Many people love chocolate, but they don't eat it during a diet.
