| You're toning your muscles. Work out everday to keep it up. |

| Remember muscle weighs more than fat. I actually weigh more than I have in years right now, but I am much slimmer... why? Lean muscle mass.Perhaps try taking inches around your body to record how in shape you get... bc y ou may be getting thinner than you realize but adding muscle weight. Also it does take time to get in good slim shape if you are doing it healthy.I'd say do cardio (run, elliptical, areobics... whatever) 3x a week... like MWF, then do muscle toning excersizes (light weights, yoga... which is good for the mind and body... etc) Tu,Th and Sat (or not Sat... that can be optional)... (I usually take my whole weekend off). This way by doing diff types of work outs diff days your body can heal those parts ...Im sure you're doing well! Dont worry about weight... it's seriously just a number! |

You may not be losing weight, but you're losing inches. And yes - you should do everything you can to get some exercise every day. It won't hurt you and you'll feel a lot better. You may also have no weight to lose. You can only lose so much. So a better approach isn't "I want to lose weight", but rather, "I want to be healthy". Also -- watch what you're putting into your mouth. Journal every piece of food you stick in your mouth for one week. At the end of each day - figure out the number of calories you're eating. Then - at the end of that week, compare your normal diet and number of calories to what you SHOULD be eating for someone your size and weight (or to lose weight). Most people will find they're way off in their day-to-day diet. |
