I have heard many people say it's dangerous to lose weight fast but what about all those people that gained weight fast.I think rapid weight gain is more common than rapid weight loss.

Rapid weight gain is way common. But rapid weight loss is probably true for more people than you think. They both are equally bad and dangerous for your health.

equally bad...the body finds it hard to handle. Rapid weight loss can indicate many health problems - some even fatal.

it is a lot harder to lose weight than it is to gain it. it is not good to lose more than a few pounds a week. you can gain up to 10 pounds a week if you dont watch your diet

I think that gaining weight fast is worst... for most people, once you start it's hard to stop!

Rapid weight and rapid weight loss are equally dangerous. Rapid weight gain is usually due to depression or over stress, and weight loss is often due to same thing. People who starve themselves to lose weight fast are being very destructive to themselves. They are withholding nutrients from their body including their muscles. As they lose weight they are losing more than just fat, they lose muscles as well. This is very dangerous. Gaining weight fast however can cause in time all kinds of heart problems. I wouldn't recommend either.

ok look. your question is not very clear. if you are saying that if an obese person loses alot of weight quickly or if a normal person gains weight quickly thats is very bad. but if you are skiny and you are gaining weight by eating good food and workingout (like me right now) than there is no harm in gaining alot of wieght quickly becuase its building all your body. same applies for an obese person who loses alot of weight quickly. but if a skinny guy loses alot of weight quickly than that is a sign of bad health.

You know it's interesting, I was in your same situation about 3 months ago (during Christmas time), and it wasnt until a friend told me about http://www.findhowtoloseweightfast.com that I was able to get a solid answer! Basically a group of people are reviewing all the different weight loss methods that ARE working, from herbal supplements to diet strategies. My mom (who is in her late 50s) lost about 20lbs over the last 2 months through a diet plan they recommended. I lost 45lbs!! Of course I "cheated" and went the herbal supplement pill route, but I chose the same one Oprah now uses, so to each their own right :)Good luck either way! Tons of information to success out there!
