Im a 16 year old girl, 5 foot 10 inches and 150 pounds....i would like to lose about 10 pounds by summer time....any ideas? don't tell me i don't need to lose weight...i just want to lose some fat and gain some muscle...any ideas....i don't want to go on a cash diet...but a healthy one. my goal is to by june or july to have some fat pounds off and some muscle pounds on...so weight loss isn't needed but fat loss....please help me....thanks is advance : )

1. Eat about 5 times a day. If your body is full and it always has food it wont store it as fat. if you dont eat then eat something the body stores it as fat becuase it doesnt think it will eat for a long tim.2. Eat healthy foods! Get rid of pop, sugar, salt , and breads no red meat, no egg yolk.Food kicks up your metabolism in turn burning fat. some good food combinations for me that makes it even higher is half a grapefruit and 3 egg whites for breakfast. salad and turkeychicken and mixed veggies.dont forget eat 5 meals a day every 2-3 hours. you'll have more energy too! i've been eating this way for 2 weeks. lost almost 20 pounds!dont forget to exercise! walk about an hour a day. DONT RUN . just breathe in for 4 out for 2. gives your body the same effect without wearing you out.Drink 100 oz of water a day ( about 5, 20 oz bottles of water, like the sams choice water at walmart) it washes out fat and salt.. if you wanna do like crunches or something and get toned do exercises on those big balls. http://www.power-systems.com/p-2961-active-x-ball.aspxI got one at walmart for about $10 and it had the ball, a pump to blow it up with, weights, and a DVD to show you what to do

okay first off: Eat as much as you want, but make it healthy foods. Obvious things like brown rice, beans (not fried of course), salmon, grilled chicken breast, veggies, fruit, all that good stuff. Then do cardio to get rid of your fat. 7 days a week run for 30 minutes or do some cycling or jump roping. Then, lift some weights to get that muscle mass. You can find a plan at bodybuilding.com. well i was gonna tell you that you are a perfect weight for your height and age but since you don't want to hear that i guess i have to give you some other advice.To truly lose fat and gain muscle, endurance exercises, as well as flexiblity exercises and cardio. Daily:~50 push-ups~100 sit-ups~100 jumping jacks~jogging for a constant 45 minutes(or jump-rope or running up and down the stairs)By doing these I lost about 15-20 lbs. instantly. But thats because before I did no exercise. You may have to do more for more effect. However, if you want to build more muscle and lose fat w/o losing tons of weight, take out the cardio and double the push-ups/sit-ups.Also, make healthier food choices...it can make all the difference.
