| I have recently started walking for exercise, and I bought a really good pair of shoes which worked great untill they were to worn out to wear anymore. I went to the same store, bought the same pair of shoes again since I had good luck with the first pair, but this pair makes my feet hurt!!! I used to be able to walk 2 to 3 miles easily and now it hurts before i make it to a 1/2 mile!!! Is there something I can do for my feet to help aleviate the pain? For the record, I have very high arches, but I do stretch my feet and legs. |

| You feet are not used to brand new shoes ( they are a little harder in the beginning. Wear thick socks and band aid. Or wear those shoes when you are doing other things until it gets comfy enough to go for long walks. |

| Over the past 10 years I have been to 4 podiatrists and they ALL said the best sneakers to buy are New Balance brand. They have alot of room for your toes to spread out. I actually found out too that I was wearing the wrong size shoe all my life. I was wearing a shoe 1 size too small. Plus, New Balance sneakers come in different widths. |
