I have always been active; however, due to personal problems, I stopped and am starting out again. Anyways, my program consiste of one hour in the morning and the other in the evening. I do half using a treadmill and the other using an elliptical trainer. My diet is between 1100 to 1200 calories per day. As of now, I weigh about 160 lbs and stand at about 5"4' and my goal would be about 130. .

Yes, very effective. But the only way to see if it's effective for you is to try it for about a month. You'll guarantee lose weight.

This is perfect. Reminds me of my football days, lol Two-a-days. Anyways, measure your heart rate and keep it in the "fat buring zone."

With all that exercise, you should eat more. the minimum for women, regardless of whether or not they want to lose weight is 1200 calories per day. if you are active, you should eat more. if you don't eat enough and exercise too much, you will lose some weight at first, but you will start to stop losing and may even gain some back. Your body will store fat instead of burning it as a survival mean. go to www.mypyramid.gov

If you're keeping your heart rate at it's target for your age, then yes, it's good. Otherwise, you might just be wasting your time. Here's the equation: 220 minus your age times .80. I'm 39. Take 220- 39 is 181. 181 x .80 is 145.Also, I think "8 Minutes in the Morning" by Jorge Cruise is a very informative book. Good luck.
