| I have this habbit of trying not to sit down anymore. The reason why is because I find myself more active when standing up + You burn more calories by simply standing anyways. However my feet are starting to hurt. I think im just simply standing too much because of that. Once I get out of bed in the morning I don't even sit, I just wait till the more dawn time of day a few hours before I go to sleep before I start sitting again. So pretty much the whole day I stand and walk around trying to be more active. I have tried better shoes to help my feet. It works but not too well. What I want to know is will sitting too long hurt your diet? I understand that the body burns calories just by living. So if I sat a lot during the day and stuck to my healthy diet would I still lose weight?I do work out to but my legs have just about had it of running since a week ago I would run about 5 miles daily. thats why im doing this "trying to be more active thing" to replace the excercise. |

| Definitely give your feet a break! You can still be active while sitting or laying down doing some crunches or leg exercises. It is not necessary to be active every waking hour of the day though. You need to find that balance between the two. I hope tis helps. Good Luck! |
