i went running yesterday for the first time in awhile and i ran way too much.... lol... now i can barely walk up the stairs!whats the best way to treat my sore legs? thanks

Stretching is the best thing to do...lots of stretching before you run and after you run. A warm bath works too. But it will go away your just not use to running anymore but the more you do it the less you will be sore.

At this point all you can do is wait. You might find a hot bath gives you some short term relief.

2 aspirin and a nice warm bath will help.

aww.try not to move it or walk with it.thats how you make it feel better and put an ice on itso the sore wont get worse.take care now

Legs can take a few days to full recover when you haven't exercised them in awhile. Drinking lots of water will help, and take a hot/cold shower. Go for a light jog today to get the blood flowing, then spend a good amount of time stretching your legs today. Get 8-9 hours of sleep as well to recover quicker. Massaging your legs will help also.

if it's due to an electrolyte imbalance, drinking gatoraid or something similar will help, too.
