60 days is way too long to do this fast. Generally for health reasons fruit fasts are only recommended for a maximum of 2 weeks. You will sabotage your muscle tissue and cause your body to go into conservation mode. Initially you will lose fluid and muscle tissue and what fat you do loose you will put back on as fat when you start eating again, because the body is in starvation mode. This is extremely dangerous for this amount of time and I do not recommend it. I am a qualified nutritionist and this is not the way to loose weight healthily. You may pay a high price for this. The sensible way to loose weight is to eat 300 calorie meals 5 times a day. Increase water intake. Start exercising. Increase fibre. Chromium tablets can help curb the appetite. Please think carefully before doing this. You can email me at: amanda3496@iinet.net.au for further advise and support if you choose.

If you follow this diet you will eventually lose what little muscle you have left, and your metabolism will become catabolic(it will stop burning fat) and you will become very frail and weak leading you to binge on fatty food. good luck

why would you want to take diet pills if you are going on a fast? That's like giving starving people in Africa diet soda.....look, i don't want to discourage you from losing weight, but 60 days of a fruit fast is intense....i did 2 weeks of one many years ago when i did it i got really sick. the best thing you can do if you are going to do something like that is to take some kind of supplement to make sure you are getting the nutrients you need and also consult a physician while you are doing it. seriously, you can really mess yourself up by doing something like that-our bodies need nutrients and a nice balance of protein/carbs/fats to function properly.if you have that much will power where you think you can do something really intense for 60 days i highly suggest doing some research on the web for the healthiest way to do it. i am absolutely sure you will find plans that include lean protein, vegetables, fruits etc and i believe you can use this new diet pill alli if you do something like that (although ive never tried it and have no idea if it's good).BUT, PLEASE PLEASE be careful. It may sound like a quick fix to do a fast but in the long run it probably won't solve the reason you got to 200 lbs in the first place and more importantly, 2 months of fasting is really dangerous!!!!

O.O May I ask why you want to do this?I understand that you would like to lose some weight but !!!! that's going to be really hard and unhealthy? And for 2 months? If you keep it up you might lose a drastic amount of weight but with that will also come bone loss and a low thyroid which would you make gain weight just by eating lettuce. Or it could backfire and it could just store making you gain more weight. Basically, it's a risque road. I would suggest you just stick to a food guide and I do believe dit pills work, Annorex I think it's called? It's great, levorex or something, I know it's sold as another name as annorex, it might make you feel a bit hyper and make your heart beat fast but it does well, take that and eat healthy, along with some jogging and toning and you'll get the unwanted weight off without jeopardizing your organs, body and heal ;)Good luck Wink

please please please make sure you have done your research on water fasting BEFORE you start it...and 60 days im assuming not medically supervised is not healthy at all...i did a water fast for 25 days and was on the brink of death..i wouldnt recomend a water fast for weight loss...most of the weight loss from a water fast is water ironically, and muscle...after awhile your body will go into starvation mode, and your organs will start shutting down, ive got liver/kidney damage due to the fast i did...and i dont recomend ANY diet pill if you will be fasting, let alone fasting...fast for a couple days at most..get examined by a doctor before hand, and im not sure if you know this but when those type of fasts are supervised the clients are given many vitamins, and drinks and monitored regularly..if you want to lose weight excercise..eat healthy...and lower your caloric intake a little.
