Add variety to your weight lifting routine (machines and free weights). Alternate your sets with different numbers of reps at different weights. How is your diet? Have you cut back on junk food, decreased portions, and increased water, fiber, fruit, nut, veggie, and lean meat intake? Aim for 8-10 hours of sleep. Avoid stress when possible because cortisol, the stress hormone, is fattening. I read that a mix of soy-whey protein after each workout helps a person lose weight and gain muscle. Do you make your shakes with water, milk, or soymilk? My favorite to add is chocolate Almond Breeze soymilk. I hope this helps.

Use Free Weights, go as heavy as you can for 6 to 8 repetitions, EAT, EAT, EAT, and if you can stand the taste, drink a Weight Gain supplement powder mix daily. Cut cardo workout. Get plenty of rest. Workout 4 to 6 times a week. Don't over train, you won't see gains.
