Someday you'll thank yourself that you kept that skinny. When all those kids grow up and get fat, you'll be glad you stayed skinny. Be happy with your body. Plus if you do put on weight its extremely hard to get rid of it.

Try to eat a diet of at least 2000 calories a day , do some light weights and cardio to build up tissue. Eat foods with alot of carbohydrates and proteins.

The only thing that I can think of is weightlifting and high calorie protein shakes.

Eat lots of fruits/veggies, lean meats, pastas, breads, drink more then the average amount of milk. Drink a lot of water and have an exercise program that doesn't require endless reps and sets. Be consistant, visualize what you want your body to look like and write down your goals and begin with the end in mind meaning you've already achieved your goals and now its to you to prove how you did it. Do it for yourself not for anybody else. Be peaceful about your exercise and know it feels good and not painful.

I recently went on a "diet" to try and gain weight. I was 5'4" and weighed 103 pounds. I totally understand how you feel. People have no idea how much it hurts to have someone call you anorexic or chicken legs. And how many times have we heard the line "you'll appreciate it when you're older". Well, now I'm older and I still don't appreciate it. I was able to put on 15 pounds by drinking three of the Ensure Plus drinks per day and having several snacks in between meals. I ate a lot of healthy food that was high in good fat such as peanuts and almonds. I kept track everyday of the number of calories I had and just forced myself to eat more. I also found a weight gain calculator online that told me the exact number of calories that I needed to eat in order to gain weight. Good luck to you. I know how you feel.

im underweight too but i see a nutritionistu need to eat MORE CALORIES THEN U BURN TO GAIN WEIGHT...EAT MORE OF THESE TYPES OF SNACKS/FOODS ...-Lean meats-complex carbs(oatmeal, brown rice, whole wheat bread/pasta)-peanut butter or other nuts-"proto pure" protein bars....each has 300 calories and 32 g protein but are low fat(7-8g), ok carb(around 26), very low sugar(1g), very healthy and delicious...i like the chewy chocolate chip and chocolate deluxe..or the regular "pure" protein bars but they are smaller and only have around 180-200 calories and 20 grams of protein-loose granola-dried fruit(especially raisins)-instead of fresh fruit-muesli-potatoes and corn instead of greens-drink BOOST PLUS and ensure plus(the chocolate is the best) they have 350-360 calories each and have alot of vitamins, healthy fats, and the carbs u need...look them up...there is a difference between the regular and the plus...-milk/other dairy products-beans/seedsU HAVE 2 MAKE SURE U DONT BURN WHAT U EAT AND HAVE A HEALTHY SNACK BEFORE BED LIKE A PB&J SANDWICH AND A GLASS OF CHOCOLATE MILK or boost plus
