| Ok I am turning 17 this month and am about 5'7 or 5'8. I weigh at 205-210 pounds. I used to weigh at 245 like 6-8 months ago but the diet and exercise I was doing helped me. It wasn't really organized in any way. I just didn't eat that much but enough to make me full and exercised when ever I had time or felt like it.I am joining a gym tomorrow and wanted to make a workout plan. I wanted to lose weight but also gain muscle. If you work out at the gym and have a routine you go by can you help me create one?I want to know what muscle groups to work on the same day. Thanks for help. |

| Here is a good workout plan that you will find a lot of people follow. Personally, I workout everyday so here is a typical week for me.Monday: Chest, triceps, abs.Tuesday: Back, Biceps, abs.Wed: Shoulders, traps, abs.Thursday: All legs, quads, hamstrings, calves.Friday: Whatever I feel needs more work that week.Keep in mind that you will NOT see results if you do not eat properly. Im a college student so its easier for me to eat less and the right things. I eat lots of lean meats, and nuts. High protein and low fat. People will tell you not to do abs everyday but I like to to feel fit, plus I saw excellent results one I hit the gym every day. Also, supplements might be a good idea (protein powder meal replacement, NO explode for workout energy) Remember, your metabolism will be going crazy after a tough workout, so make sure you don't eat whatever is around afterwards, eat healthy. |

Every gym I have ever belonged to offered a free assessment and workout plan when you first join, done by one of their personal trainers. They meet with you, discuss your goals, explain the exercises and machines and number of reps and so forth you need to be doing, and give you a chart that stays at the gym so you can keep track. Good luck |
