| hi. umm im 15yrs old.. a girl. im thinking of going in pilates.. i need a stronger core to become the best volleyball player i can be. which would be better? yoga or pilates? and how does pilates give you a stronger core? does it actually work? the program im considering is a 6 week program, meant for beginners. it's an hour class, twice a week. will i see results? and what kind of muscle will i get (if any) from this? |

| Pilates for sure! You keep your core engaged during movements and not only your abs, but it really helps with the legs, butt and back muscles. A good instructor will work you hard, but not wear you out. It's really centering. At first it might be hard to balance, but you'll get it after a couple times or less.I've been doing it and feel muscles that I didn't even know I had! I notice that my lower, lower abs get a workout and the upper back, too. It seriously makes me feel good to go! |
