| I'm only going to list yoga, because I think it's much more beneficial than Pilates, esp. if you're already strength training. Plus, IMO Pilates is incredibly difficult to learn - yoga is much easier.Pros: teaches relaxation techniquesimproves flexibility encourages deep breathing & improves blood circulationspiritual benefits (meditation)Cons:you need a teacher or adequate instruction (some of the moves can be harmful if done improperly)need peace & quiet to concentratebest done in a class (time restriction)Including yoga in your workout will round out your program well. Good luck! |

| Pros: yoga increase flexibility and relaxationCons: too much working out might become boring, if you are weight training I think pilates might not be challenging enough or repeat a lot of the same resistance exercises.I would only add one day of weight training and add one day of yoga. |
