| My husband is trying out for our local police department, and the physical fitness part in the academy is grueling. So he has 3 months to get into shape and as the supporting wife I told him I would get into shape with him (great…lol) so yeah, part of the training is stretching and he needs to be able to bend over without bending his knees and place his palms on the floor (Being 6’1” and 190 lbs that isn’t to easy) So I have been looking into so stretching and work out routines we can do together at home. We have the basics but I was wondering if someone out there had any different ideas. Working out isn’t my specialty (I was blessed with a fast metabolism… for now) My husband and I are in our early 20’s so getting into shape shouldn’t be too hard if we actually stick to it, but I am needing some good stretching work outs maybe like yoga or pilates. And if anyone has any other type of work out routine that worked good for them and wouldn’t mind sharing that would be great… (I looked at like freetrainers.com but that gets so into detail and is just so unnecessary, cause we don’t need anything serious we are already in decent shape, I just need some at home easy basics and routines…)We are not looking to lose weight just get more into shape and tone a little. We cut out the soda and fast food and other junk food but we are not dieting to hard cause it isn’t the weight we need to lose we just need to build a little more muscle. |
