Well, you'll have to burn off 3,500 - 7,000 plus what you eat to be able to burn 1 - 2 pounds a week. You might have to work out 5 times a week with cardio to be able to do this, but its a very attainable goal for you.Cheers!

1200 calories is a good amt to eat each day and still lose weight. Once ready to maintain go to 1500 and see what happens. You may need to add or cut back to maintain.

A pound is about 3600 calories. To loose a pound a week you would probably have to burn about 5000 extra calories a week because most the caloroies you burn while running or whatever is carbs.A mix of excersizing and eating healthy (not less) would be the fastest way.

In theory it takes a deficit of 3500 calories per pound you wish to lose. Cutting by that amount doesn't always result in that amount of losses though as there are a number of other factors that influence the process. The basics are a calorie deficit, insulin management, sufficient protein intake, proper hydration, hypertrophy training, etc. I talk about diet and fitness quite a bit on my blog, you may want to check it out at http://fitnessratchet.com

Cutting 500 calories a day will help you lose about a pound a week! As long as you are still getting good nutrition it should help. We cut calories by switching to wheat bread, wheat spaghetti, and using just comparing everything on the shelf to get something good, but low in calories.

Sounds like you have a good workout schedule so keep up the good work. Now to lose a pound you must burn or your body must consume 3500 calories. While losing weight don't want to eat more than 1500 calories a day. Stay away from any type of animal products, refine food, saturated fats, process foods, and make no exception to these rules. Yes that pretty much means eating veggies and fruits but there is a huge variety to choose from and how to prepare. Keep it up and look better and feel great.

When I was dieting I watched my fat intake and didn't worry about calories. 30 grams of fat a day will keep you at the weight you are now. Try to cut that in half or down to 10 gms. a day. You will lose weight. That means lots of fruits and veggies. Drink lots of water and exercise, I walked at least a mile everyday. I lost 23 pounds in 6 weeks by following this plan. I ate tuna in water with celery and onions ground up and mixed in with the tuna. I snacked on green beans from a can, zero fat ( I love green beans straight from the can) watch your carbs that turn to fat. I put my husband on this diet and he lost 25 pounds in about 2 months, he likes his sweets so I had to come up with something sweet to feed him everynight. I used angel food cake with applesauce mixed with cinnamon and splenda. Fat free puddings, fat free cool whip on angel food cake and fat free pudding. Mix it up and you can still have sweets. I changed him from ice cream to sherbet. Canned fruits in their own juice and lots of salads but fat free dressing. Hope this works for you.
